Vekta Midstream Limited is pursuing a Natural Gas Distribution Licence in accordance with the Energy Commission Act, 1997 (Act 541) and the Commission's Licence and Permit Application Manual for Service Providers in the Natural Gas Supply Industry.
The licensing pathway is structured in four stages: (1) Project Registration Certificate; (2) Siting Clearance; (3) Authorisation to Construct — the Distribution Licence proper; and (4) Operations Approval. Each stage requires statutory submissions reviewed by the Commission against the criteria set out in the Manual.
